In the television series Locke and Key, Rufus Whedon stars as the adopted son of Ellie, who works as a groundskeeper. Ellie and Rufus have a secret past. During their college days, Rufus was a student of Rendell Locke. After he killed his wife and three daughters, he has shifted to Matheson, Massachusetts, where he meets the adopted son. The couple soon discover that Rendell had hidden keys throughout the house, but it has no one to find them.

Coby Bird

After a long absence from television, Coby Bird has made a return to the small screen as Rufus Whedon, a young criminal on Netflix's Locke & Key. He is only seventeen years old, and his previous acting credits include Liam West in The Good Doctor, where he played a young surgeon with Autism named Dr. Shaun Murphy. Bird is also a talented actress.

In Season Two, the Locke family has to protect their children from a demon called Dodge. However, the town of Lovecraft punishes Rufus for being too competent. After he attacked the Dodge-possessed Bodie, Rufus is placed in a mental ward. When he tries to escape, he accidentally kills Dodge by carrying him back to the wellhouse. This episode also ends with the arrival of Key and Locke, who will find Rufus after he's been bitten by the demon.

The Locke & Key Netflix series is one of Coby Bird's biggest credits. The series is a supernatural horror drama. The show has received rave reviews from critics and movie rating sites. Besides Locke & Key, Coby has also appeared in Love Daily, The Good Doctor, and Mega Python vs. Gatoroid. Though Coby Bird has been in many films, his biggest success is as Rufus Whedon in Locke & Key.

Ellie

In Ellie Locke and Key Rufus, a mother and son find themselves separated by a time portal. Ellie escapes from this portal and clambers out of the abandoned sea cave. She travels to Nebraska to search for her son, Rufus Locke. She finds him when Rufus walks out of the house and runs into his mother's arms. This is the beginning of an unexpected romance between the two of them.

The show follows the lives of the siblings Locke after the death of their father. Ellie is the daughter of a wealthy family, and her stepfather is a mysterious man. Their father had been murdered, and they move to an ancestral home to live with their mother. The siblings explore the mysterious keys that are hidden within their home. But their lives change when their father is murdered. When Candice falls down the stairs, she is left alone with Rufus and Ellie.

Several decades later, Ellie returns to the Keyhouse Manor and snoops around. She is searching for the Crown of Shadows, but it seems to be missing. Ellie encounters Bode alone and convinces him that she is Ellie. Meanwhile, Duncan and Lucas work together to restore Ellie's true appearance. Ellie reconciles with her ex-husband and son. Key Rufus also comes to her rescue, helping her find the magic she seeks.

Duncan

Unlike other mystery series, Duncan Locke and Key Rufus follows the characters through a complicated series of events. In season one, Rufus and Gabe become friendly, but the next season finds them at odds once again. Meanwhile, Rufus discovers that his adopted mother has been murdered and sets out to find her. However, the situation quickly becomes tense as the Locke family is threatened by Gabe. While the story is tragic for the Locke family, readers will also be intrigued to find out who killed Ellie and why she did it.

While the series is focused on the Locke family, the role of Duncan grows in Season 2 when the brothers are reunited. While he is the one who forges the keys that open the circle of keepers, the younger Locke does not recall Duncan's past. In Season 2, he is a main character and plays an even larger role, especially once his memories start to reappear. He is a keymaker and makes keys from his own blood, giving the Locke family an unexpected advantage in the final battle. While he seems to be a much better person in Season 2, the younger Locke is still an asset in the battle against evil, so he may be a bit softer than he appears to be at the beginning of the season.

In issue two, Rufus's story begins before breaking out of the hospital. The first half of this issue focuses on his story before escaping. Bode, on the other hand, is a bit creepy and tries to scare Rufus off by telling him about Duncan's scrambled memories. However, after Bode makes contact with Rufus, the two men are able to find each other.

Joe Hill's version of Rufus

The first issue of Joe Hill's version of Locke andKey Rufus was a stand-alone event, but there's much more to this series than that. While the first issue focused on Rufus's escape from the hospital, the second issue focuses on the events that led up to him escaping from the institution. It was also the first issue to feature a sidekick, Gabriel Rodriguez, who played the role of a paramedic checking on Rufus. The issue also features a similar cameo by Joe Hill, who draws himself into the comics for a brief appearance.

While there's a lighthouse near the Keyhouse, this was not included in the first season of the show. It may have made an appearance in the next season. Another significant change was Ellie bringing Rufus fresh cookies, which is a recurring theme from the comics. By the end of the issue, however, Ellie meets her end when she's murdered by Dodge.

The first season of the series was an overall success. The characters were likeable, and the premise was interesting, and it was easy to get attached to the series. But the characters were not exactly perfect. They had to undergo many trials and tribulations to reach their destination. The Locke family was not always happy with the fate of their patriarch, but their new home was a better place for them.

Ellie's disappearance

The mystery surrounding Ellie's disappearance from Locke & Key is complicated. We already know that she is in hiding, and we also know that she's snooping around Keyhouse Manor in search of a mysterious object called the Crown of Shadows. Once she finds it, Ellie runs off with it to her house. When she reaches her own body, she confronts Kinsey, who accuses her of helping Lucas. Ellie, terrified of her new monstrous body, explains that she's in hiding, and eventually reunites with her son.

The enigmatic Ellie Whedon, who first met Bode Locke when he was young, has been trying to track down his missing son Rufus. Meanwhile, a demonic force known as Dodge continues to stalk the Locke family, attempting to take over the magical powers of the Locke family. Ellie's disappearance from Locke & Key Rufus continues to fuel the mystery surrounding Ellie's disappearance, and many fans are rooting for the reunited pair.

As the series unfolded, Ellie's son Rufus was the biological child of her ex-boyfriend, Gil Whedon. He was born with an unspecified mental disorder, and speaks in military-style language through action figures. He suffered physical abuse by Candice Whedon, who was murdered by Dodge. In the aftermath of Ellie's disappearance, Rufus was raised by Candice and Gil, and is a groundskeeper at the Keyhouse. Although he speaks military-style language, he doesn't use it in the television series.

Dodge's dismissal of Rufus

Amidst the chaos, Tyler and Ellie feel conflicted after hearing the news that Bodie has been killed by Dodge. Bode meets Rufus's houseguest, Key Rufus, and Tyler is concerned for her safety. Meanwhile, Dodge zeroes in on Omega Key, a man who has been threatening them since he was a child. The story of Locke and Key is a complex one.

One of the most defining events of the series is the dismissal of the two brothers by the narrator, who is a co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous. This scene depicts the sham nature of these meetings, and Nina Locke almost walks in while attempting to attend. However, AA meetings are often coded to allow meeting participants more privacy. In the comic, Dodge uses this line again, as he first does in Crown of Shadows. In addition to the two main characters, Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodriguez make appearances in the series. While Hill draws himself into the comics, his cameo in Locke and Key has a similar effect.

As an aside, Dodge's dismissal of Locke and EC has a few glaring omissions. Despite the fact that the series' antagonist is a narrator, his motivation is purely evil. In the end, Dodge is out to get the Omega Key. This elusive key is incredibly powerful and can open the Black Door. So what are the odds of this happening?
